realme, a fast-growing smartphone brand,was struggling with its French Facebook and Instagram presence. Content produced abroad often featured awkward or confusing translations, making it hard to genuinely connect with local audiences. As a result, brand perception suffered, and engagement levels in France remained low.

Approach

To address these issues, a localized strategy was introduced. A dedicated native speaker took charge of writing posts in French, ensuring both cultural relevance and clarity. Content was reimagined to better match French users’ interests, making it more compelling and attractive. Meanwhile, active comment moderation allowed for real-time responses in fluent French—reinforcing the sense that realme was an approachable brand that really listened to its community.

Results

In just four months, realme France’s Instagram account gained 1,700 new followers, climbing to 39,500 overall. Profile visits rose by 4,200, and interactions jumped by an impressive 4,500%. Reach grew by 446%. On the 21,000-follower Facebook page, content interactions increased by 14%, while reach shot up by 296%. These figures underscore a significant growth in both visibility and engagement, thanks to a communication strategy tailored specifically for the local audience.
