Challenge

Leader in the distribution of electronic components and computer hardware for more than 45 years in Germany, reichelt elektronik wanted to capitalize on its expertise and reputation to emerge on the French market. The PR challenge? To introduce reichelt to the French press by preserving its core business and its B2B target, but also by managing to arouse the interest of the general public with a geek/high-tech discourse.

Approach

We started our collaboration with reichelt by introducing the company to the French press through an Open Day, in the presence of the CEO. This event was an opportunity to present to journalists a selection of products available for sale on www.reichelt.fr. Since then, we have maintained the company’s reputation among the French media, in particular thanks to an influence strategy built around micro-influencers (bloggers and specialized YouTubers), and the regular conduct of studies on key market segments for reichelt, allowing us to support the company’s commercial strategy.

Results

Reichelt is now recognized as a leading European player in electronics with its core target: the specialized press in electronics and IT, as well as the consumer/tech press. With a successful launch in France in 2017, reichelt is now working on expanding its business in the Netherlands and Poland.
