Challenge

In 2021, Sophos wished to explore new content formats to capture the attention of a highly technical and often hard-to-engage audience.

The objective was clear: move beyond traditional formats like whitepapers or webinars and create a compelling, high-value experience to attract qualified prospects and customers.

That’s how the podcast series “Cybersecurity Evolved” was born—designed to unpack complex topics, share real-world use cases, and showcase the voices shaping the industry.

Approach

OneChocolate partnered with Sophos to design and deliver two podcast seasons, with 10 episodes released between 2021 and 2023.

The agency managed the entire production process: from defining editorial themes to sourcing expert guests (cybersecurity specialists, white-hat hackers, customers, bug bounty pros…), to developing the visual and audio branding, conducting and hosting the interviews, editing, publishing on major platforms, and promoting each episode across social media.

This podcast helped humanise the brand’s expertise and reach new segments with a more relatable tone of voice.

Results

The podcast created strong and sustained engagement: over 25,000 listens across both seasons, with many episodes continuing to attract traffic well beyond their launch.

Some episodes were promoted by the tech and business press, helping position Sophos as a thought leader in the cybersecurity ecosystem.

Meanwhile, the social media promotion strategy helped significantly increase likes, shares, and new followers on Sophos’ digital channels.
