Qlik wanted to take advantage of the “Club agora des CDOs”, which they created alongside other partners. A unique opportunity for journalists to meet Chief Data Officers of French companies in order to better understand this new profession, their different missions and the strategy of companies in terms of data.
Approach
To ensure that this meeting took place in the best possible conditions, OneChocolate organized a press lunch in a renowned restaurant near the Champs-Elysées. The journalists were able to meet 3 CDOs of the club and a Qlik spokesperson in charge of the club’s activities in order to discuss the various issues related to the position of CDO.
Results
The organization of this lunch allowed a significant increase in Qlik’s visibility in the media. Indeed, six journalists were present: two from the economic press and four from the computer press.
The media coverage was no less either. Les Echos Executives, Les Echos’ business blog, conducted one of the individual interviews with the spokespersons present in order to write a series of articles on data in business. MagIT and Best Practices SI also wrote an article each. Finally, a follow-up interview was also carried out with the Usine Nouvelle.
