Challenge
On the eve of the company’s 30th anniversary, G-Data called on OneChocolate to raise awareness with the mainstream media and to quickly become known as a player recognized for its quality products in IT security (antivirus, secure online solutions).
Approach
To interest and attract Lifestyle, General IT and Business media, this project combined both an event and attractive content. In addition to the choice of an atypical place (a mysterious 18th century house in the heart of Paris), the speakers who came to express themselves on the subject brought real added value: Eric Freyssinet, advisor to the Ministry of the Interior on Cybercrime and Alizé Cornet, N°1 French tennis player, former victim of a hack of her personal data. The event was completed by the creation of a game video game inspired by the place, the organization of a press lunch on site and the publication of the results of a study on the black market and computer security.
Results
G-Data has been able to demonstrate its expertise in cybercrime and position itself at the forefront of the field.
About fifteen journalists attended the event, and numerous interviews were organized on this occasion and in the following weeks.
